EXIT Realty Central Texas is pleased to announce our support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation through the LiveStrong progam. EXIT Realty's contribution will help to support the LiveStrong Global Cancer Initiative that supports cancer survivorship.
In 2008 local LiveStrong participant and bicyclist Wayne Morgan, rode in the Ragbrai ride, a 475 mile ride across Iowa as part of the LiveStrong team raising money to fight cancer. Wayne’s goal is to raise $20,000 and with support from local individuals and the Austin business community, he has raised $9,863 to date. Wayne is an active real estate investor, Austin business entrepreneur and the owner of the Austin Institute of Real Estate.

EXIT Realty Rock and Rolls at ABoR!
Without a doubt, EXIT Realty had the LARGEST BOOTH PRESENCE of any real estate company at the Austin Board of Realtors® 2008 Realty Roundup Tradeshow. The Realty Roundup was held at the Austin Convention Center located in Austin’s downtown business district and is among the most attended real estate trade shows held in Central Texas. Over 2,000 people were in attendance to participate in featured seminars and investigate real estate industry products and services.
The EXIT team was out in force to spread the word on how EXIT Realty is changing the face of real estate in Austin. Despite a tough market, EXIT is still showing continued growth and making an impact on the market in Central Texas. Our Austin Broker – Owner’s increased attendance staffing the booth added to our overall footprint at the tradeshow. You couldn't go anywhere in the Austin Convention Center without running into EXIT Realty!

60 Minutes with Steve Morris is an EXIT Central Texas Success
Best Attendance Ever!
Steve Morris, Founder and CEO of EXIT Realty Corp International entertained and educated a gathering of over 200 real estate professionals at the New Braunfels Civic Center on Thursday, October 2, 2008. The 60 Minutes with Steve Morris event was hosted by EXIT Realty Central Texas and regional owners Dion McCormick and Jack Stoker. Many of the professionals included EXIT Realty franchise broker-owners and realtors from Austin and San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Wow—60 Minutes with Steve Morris recorded the highest attendance this year with more people attending the event than in previous years! Steve Morris’ message was timely, as attendees showed signs of continued interest in the EXIT formula message despite a tough real estate market. The EXIT formula is one of the leading real estate business models in the industry with financial returns that include sponsoring residuals, retirement and beneficiary benefits.
Thanks to regional event sponsors First American Title Insurance Company, United Credit Education Services and City Bank Mortgage for their participation at the event. In addition, several franchise offices invited related industry vendors who brought materials and answered questions about their products.
Fun and festivities at the luncheon began with a delicious lunch served by Well Seasoned Catering. Dion and Jack along with Steve Morris, mc’d several prize give aways that ranged from gift certificates to iPods. The event closed with a spontaneous photo opportunity with Steve Morris and a last chance for EXIT team members to network.

EXIT HomeVets Realtor Jose Segarra Regional VP of TAR
Jose Segarra, a realtor with EXIT HomeVets Realty will serve as a 2008 regional vice president of Region 5, Killeen for the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR), and the largest professional membership organization in the state, which serves more than 90,000 members statewide.
TAR is the foremost authority on issues affecting homeowners and real estate professionals in Texas. Jose Segarra’s role as a regional Vice President will be to relay key information from the state association to realtors in the Killeen/Ft. hood area and to communicate member needs and concerns back to the association.
At the local level, Segarra is the immediate past president of the Fort Hood Association of Realtors and is currently the chairman of public relations. “EXIT Realty Central Texas is proud of Jose’s dedication and we are constantly amazed by his focus and energy in building a brighter future for Realtors” stated regional owner of EXIT Realty Central Texas, Dion McCormick.
